Virtually Gerry is 21!

I’m not usually one to shout things from the rooftops, but it would feel wrong not to pause and say wow — 21 years in business!

Has much changed over the decades? Yep.

Has much changed in just the past six months? Also yep!

And honestly, that’s what keeps it all interesting.

When I first started, the term Virtual Assistant confused people. “Oh, you actually exist?” was a common response. Fast forward to 2025, and now we’re mistaken for AI bots! Maybe that’s been part of the secret to longevity — the mystery of who (and what) we are!

Over these years I’ve travelled, raised a family, cared for an elderly parent, and built a job I’ve truly loved. I’ve had employees, associates, and sometimes it’s just been me. That freedom and flexibility has been such a gift.

Some of the parts I treasure most:

• Working with my clients — some of whom have been with me right from the start.

• Being part of a team. That sense of connection still means just as much to me now as it did in the beginning.

• Leaning into my introversion and thriving behind the scenes.

  
  

Would I do it all over again? Absolutely.
